White Willow Bark

White Willow Bark - A constituent of this bark is the source for the popular drug, Aspirin, and many other drugs for arthritis and pain relief.  It has long been used by Native American healers for pain relief and its anti-inflammatory properties.  Unlike Aspirin, willow bark will not irritate the stomach or increase the risk of bleeding; the effects of white willow are also more long-lasting than Aspirin.  Willow bark has also been traditionally used to lessen excessive sexual desire (when taken long-term) and to bring down fevers.  Our wild & organic white willow bark is available in 2 ounce packages.
