Ethiopian Shiro Powder

Ethiopian Shiro Powder - Imported from Ethiopia, this is an all natural unique spice blend mixed with ground yellow split peas, used in traditional Ethiopian cuisine, and as an all-purpose seasoning for foods.  You can use this blend similarly to how you would use curry powder.  It has a wonderful exotic flavor and can be used as an ingredient in sauces, soups, and stews.  It can also be used to season split peas, lentils, and vegetables.  Chemical pesticides and fertilizers are generally not used in Ethiopia.  Our Ethiopian Shiro Powder is available in 2 ounce packages.
